Designed specifically around avalanche tool access, the Vivid 27 was designed as a do-it-all pack for backcountry ski and split boarding pursuits. Our avalanche tool and safety pocket uses and EYL luggage zipper from YKK, especially designed for durability and abrasion resistance – the first backcountry pack to employ this zipper. We preserved quick access to essential avalanche rescue tools and designed the pack around this feature. 

  • Front access avalanche tool pocket with super durable YKK EYL zipper and triple ripstop liner
  • Padded waist belt with pocket and gear loop

  • Dual function A-Frame and tuck-away diagonal carry straps
  • EVA Foam shoulder straps with dual pockets for phones, snacks, and 500 mL flasks
  • Dual ice tool toggles and helmet carry net
  • Exterior made from 100% overrun fabric (Robic Nylon, HT Nylon, and HK Nylon)
  • Hybrid EVA/HDPE framesheet
  • Up to 67% select overstock fabric used
