Pack is high quality and lightweight with a sleek profile with just the right amount of organization. The pack is extremely comfortable with vest style curved shoulder straps with a pocket that fit an iPhone 16e with ease. The rear pocket was great for stashing quick grab items, Larger snacks, poncho, sunscreeen, hat and gloves. The top pocket was plentiful spaced for smaller items, energy bars, mandarin, lip balm, keys, wallet, hand sanitizer, power bank, etc. The interior was spacious and easy to retrieve items. Shell jacket and pants, puffy, thin midlayer, extra socks with plenty of room to add a 2 liter hydration reservoir in the separate pocket if needed. The 2 side bottle pockets are an excellent stretch mesh material that is durable and easily fitsa 24oz Camelback Podium. The bottle is completely retained and secure within the side pocket. Even with all this I did not need to use the waist belt as the pack carries the weight remarakably. However the wasit belt can be cinched up and out of the way. When needed for cylcing or climbing some class 3 and 4 scrambles it can quickly be used to help stablize the pack. I searched for many packs in this category. Compared to the mainstream day packs in this price range and volume. Just big enough to go the distance, just small enough not to overpack and fully featured. This pack packs a punch!
