My absolute favorite day pack. It carries so well and is just technical enough. The 25 L has the perfect amount of capacity and the fast pack straps and hip belt pockets make it feel like a much bigger bag. I took compliments all day of trail. Can't say enough good things about the quality and customer service. LEAVE NO TRACE!

The Lucid 25 was perfect for a six day hut-to-hut hike + via ferrata crossing of some of the most rugged terrain in the Dolomites along Alta Via 4. Totally awesome technical daypack designed for moving efficiently through magnificent landscapes. Overall shape of the pack conforms well to the body, and strategically placed shoulder and hip pockets provide quick access to sunscreen and snacks akin to what you might find on a running vest - but with the added benefits of daypack capacity. A large main compartment provided plenty of capacity for a minimalist, rifugio-supported multi-day kit (including night clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag liner, etc.) A couple of outer zip pockets provided quick access to accessories. The expandable open outer pocket was great for holding a shell jacket, harness, gloves - anything that required speedy access. We got hit with some rain along the way and the pack had pretty good weather resistance without relying on cover or liner bag - just used a small silnylon dry sack for my delicate devices. The waist belt, from the factory is quite long, but it can be trimmed to size. Overall awesome pack; looking forward to using it on many more mountain missions.

Got it for trip to Glacier National Park. It handled well for 10(ish) mile hike everyday with different weather conditions (hot, cool, humid and rain). Enough space for raincoat, rain pants, hydration pack, snacks, and other miscellaneous items. Plenty other pockets to store phone, chapstick, sunscreen and what not! Oh and shipping was fast which was a plus.

I have been searching for a medium-sized hiking backpack for months and finally found this one that checked all of my boxes! It's durable, comfortable, and has the perfect amount of pockets. The best feature is the 2 mesh pockets on the shoulder straps, perfect for keeping my phone secure, but also easily accessible for the hundreds of pictures I take each time I go hiking. Customer service was also very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely be buying from this company again in the future (although I don't think I'll need to because this backpack will last me forever)!

I added the :Lucid 25 pack to my gear for using on on- and off-trail fast-moving day hikes, long trail runs, ski tours, scrambles/peak-bagging and for wilderness photography/videography. I like the general design, materials, and workmanship. It is also a visually appealing pack, with nice color schemes. Here are my thoughts after my first use: Pros: -Durable fabrics and zippers should last a long time. -Good number of pockets for organization. -Double chest harness pockets, one mesh and one zippered on each side, with a bungee capture loop inside each zip pocket to secure a soft flask or small bottle. -Dual ice axe or trekking pole loops, each with a 'garage' to stow them when not needed, to prevent snagging. Each with upper bungee and hook attachment point to secure the shaft. -Nice, brighter lining fabric in all parts of the pack makes contents easier to see. -Mesh side pockets, one of them open at the top, and the other closes with a vertical zipper. -Silicone anti-slip 'stripes' on inner top of shoulder straps -Hip belt zip pockets can be easily opened with one hand. -Attachment points for optional bungee lashing system on the front. -Inner bladder pocket with attachment point and individual hose routing tunnels on each shoulder straps. -Solid webbing, rather than stretchy, hose-routing points across shoulder straps (I often use these to hang heavy camera or lens cases, so greatly appreciate this). -Heavier nylon oxford cloth bottom for better durability. -Thin foam frame sheet for protecting your back from sharp items in main bag. -Single, thin, sternum strap seems adequate, pairs with hip/belly belt to prevent bouncing while running, and can transfer some of the pack's weight (no whistle on buckle, as has become common on many brands, but not on such a small strap/buckle). Cons: -If putting a water bottle in the outer mesh shoulder strap pockets, it compresses the rear zip pocket so much that almost nothing can fit in them, including my phone. If usin -

Hands down one of my favorite backpacks I’ve ever had! I rarely leave the house without it, whether it’s going to skateboard around town or heading for a hike. Barely even notice it’s on.

I love this pack, wherever I go, it goes. I can't leave home without it. I'm rough on packs because they live a storied life- summer swimming parties, traveling, camping, trailing, range days, cookouts, supply bag, just a few things to name. This bag feels like a cloud on your shoulders, holds more than enough, and has pockets everywhere allowing you to configure it to your liking. It has enough straps to tighten down the heaviest or most awkward builds you could do to it.It's beautifully stabilized, so you don't waste energy fighting a bouncy pack. Since it doesn't bounce, that neck and shoulder tension from other packs isn't there. It has the waist straps w/pockets for extra support which vastly help distribute the load and keep the Center of Gravity [CG] of the pack as close to your body as possible. All of this helps with the sense of how heavy the bag is and how stressful it is on the body. Keeping the pack as close to the body's natural CG lessens the strain on the body from the pack while boosting how long you can wear it comfortably. It is the PACK, and my ma loves it. I let my 6'3 240lb brother from another mother try it- he bought one immediately after he handed mine back. You won't regret it!!!
